THE CASE OF VALENTIN MOISEYEV

IF WE BELIEVE THAT THERE IS NOBODY GAILED FOR NO PURPOSE IN OUR COUNTRY
WE COULD BE GAILED IN VAIN

The information that was announced by all news programmes about the successful operation of Federal Security Service (FSB), which caught the South Korean diplomat red-handed, didn't arose any suspicion about it's trustworthiness. There are Intelligence Service, Counter-Intelligence Service. They hunt for each other and should from time to time catch each other.

Our Counter-Intelligence Service officials have already become notoriously famous by their awkwardness in exposure of spies. These spies appeared to be exaggerated. The accusation against them was about to break down from the very first steps of the investigation and only traditional respect to FSB workers from law-enforcement agencies helped to bring the cases to court. It goes without saying the Court respects FSB a lot as well. But accusations happened to be concocted so stupidly that even the most respectful attitude of judges didn't always help to bring this hack-work to the result that was needed by FSB.

No doubt that Counter-Intelligence Service workers should now and then catch real spies. And it's better to catch them red-handed so that there were not any questions.

They certainly should, but they are not successful.

For several days the mass media was satiated with information repeated again and again about FSB successful work. It was said that the high-ranked Russian diplomat V.Moiseyev was arrested. It was him who handed over the "papers" which had been taken away from caught red-handed South Korean spy.

Probably I also was fascinated by Soviet books and movies about high professionalism of our Chekists. After all I did see what the professionalism of my investigators cost. I had an experience of associating with dozen of their colleagues (including the chief of regional Department), I know their talents from my friends' words, by the cases they were responsible for, I had to learn every detail of Pasko' case and inspite of all that I all the same believed that finally a real spy was caught.

But Moiseyev Case appeared to be the most forget from all known forget cases.

And it was not because some outstanding fools were responsible for it. The professional level is supposed to be the same.

It was a dark and silent case. No public interest. No attention. And in such a favourable atmosphere FSB workers let themselves not pay even slightest effort to fabricate a false case. Usually such their attempts become obvious and are seen from faraway. But still Chekists try to show off at least the knowledge about the necessity to prove their accusations. At least try to prove them.

But it is another story when the society is not aware of this case, without any public attention. There is no necessity to prove anything in this case. That will do.

And it really did. Court winked at all FSB prankes and did as it "should do". And to keep it secret further, Court tried to impose a secret mark on the text of the sentence.

The text was kept away from advocates, they couldn't get it, the relatives don't have it, probably the accused doesn't have it eigher

We can understand judge's motivation in this case. All the investigation cases are secret in our homeland and only the ones who have permission know everything about real professional level of FSB. And these ones usually keep silence. But the sentence can be widely spread and everyone can see the professionalism of judges. More over, it is obvious not for lawyers. In such case everyone would try to destroy all the traces.

In this site "Moiseyev Case" we give the opportunity for you to go into details of this FSB's falsification (the most foolish falsification for the last several years). It is also the most insolent and successful falsification. Court was blind and acted according the FSB orders. And this is very fearful and terrifying because we're already gone through it in our past.

We are looking forward to the decision of Court of Appeal.

May be in this Court the evidences are not needed any more and FSB's opinion is enough, who knows. In this case I can only congratulate you on the fact that you live in the country where with the words "no one can be imprisoned causelessly" millions of people can be imprisoned without any reason.

The only thing that can stop this turn to the dark ages is our attention to the FSB's methods used against us in their kennels, against law, against the state functioning in accordance with law.

That's why - read this!

And for the beginning I would say that the documents taken away from the diplomat, who was caught "red-handed", appeared to be the lecture which was publicly delivered by Moiseyev during the Russian-Korean joint conference.
