THE CASE OF VALENTIN MOISEYEV

Trial chronicle, 30 october - 13 november

October 30

As one of the witnesses has not come to the court, it postponed the interrogation of this witness till November 2

Some witnesses, employees of Ministry of foreign affairs, are out of Moscow at present time.

The defense doesn't agree that their testimonies, given during preliminary investigation, should be announced at judicial proceedings.

Especially it concerns the Irgebaev's testimony, who was a chief if Korean department at the moment of Moiseyev's detention. Irgebaev also kept in touch with South Korean diplomat for a long time and was with him on friendly terms.

At that time Irgebayev had some family problems and that's why he was deprived of missions abroad.

After giving by him testimonies during preliminary investigation all problems were solved. It seems that his testimonies were highly appreciated by FSB.

The other witness Matsegora A., who was also on good terms with the South Korean diplomat and knew about his involvement to intelligence service, had no any problems with long-term mission abroad.

It seems that his testimony also was highly estimated by FSB.

It turns that investigation is interested in announcing of their testimonies but is not interested in their interrogation by court.

Yu.Gervis pronounced his speech.
